Retail Garden Centre Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Garden Center Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our business. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture, a strong background in retail management, and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and maximize profitability.
Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service and achieve sales targets.
Maintain a welcoming and organized store environment, ensuring displays are attractive and products are well-stocked.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our product offerings and customer experience.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Education in Horticulture, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
5+ years of experience in retail management.
Strong leadership abilities, with proven experience managing and developing teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of horticulture, gardening techniques, and plant care.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
